As a Parisian artist based in New York who lived and worked in London and Kyoto, my challenge is to create artworks inspired by my exposure to different worlds.
On canvas and walls, I explore under-represented cultures informed by my experience as an immigrant and traveller whilst also delving into the emotional challenges of my generation to transpose them in dream-like dimensions.
My style marries Superflat Japanese influences inherited from Nihonga (Traditional Japanese Painting) and Manga (Japanese Comics) with New Figurative Art and Photorealism which I acquired through my experience as an advertisement mural painter in the US.
